The MAVENTIS group is proud to announce its support for Axel JOSEPH EDMOND and Thomas HEZARD, two friends participating in the 27th edition of the 4L Trophy project. As a sponsor of this team, MAVENTIS is excited to have its name associated with this thrilling and humanitarian adventure.
After several months of intense preparation, the Maventure 4L duo will set off on February 15, 2024, as Team 1221 for an exceptional event: the 27th edition of the 4L Trophy.
The principle of this project?
It is the largest 100% youth rally raid in Europe, done in a Renault 4L. Equipped with a compass and a roadbook, the teams must daily travel from point A to point B without using any GPS system. In their Renault 4Ls, they cross the wide open spaces of south-east Morocco and meet the local population. Ten days of adventure and almost 6,000 kilometers on the roads of France, Spain and the tracks of Morocco, during which all the crews live an exceptional experience.
In 2023, for the 26th edition of the raid, nearly 1200 crews set off from the Halle d’Iraty in Biarritz aboard the legendary Renault 4L. Nearly 10 nationalities and some 1300 schools were represented: from IUT to HEC, from Mines Paris to BTS mécanique, from Sup de Co to fac de lettres.

The challenges of the 4L Trophy :
The 4L Trophy is an event that combines the spirit of adventure and humanitarianism: the aim of the race is not only to cross the finish line first, but also to collect and distribute school supplies to underprivileged children in Morocco. It’s a humanitarian project that gives deep meaning to this adventure: by taking part, our team has the opportunity to support 4 associations: for over fifteen years, Désertours has been working in collaboration with the association Enfants du Désert to get things done in the field: 26 classrooms have been opened since 2012, 260,000 children have benefited from school and sports equipment, and over 70 projects have seen the light of day. The project is also helping the Basque branch of the French Red Cross by collecting almost 20,000 meals for distribution to families.
In addition to these two associations, we also support the Cap Eco Solidaire association, which works to protect the environment, and the Moroccan branch of the Surfrider Foundation.

The Maventure 4L team, a duo of motivated young people, shares the same values as the MAVENTIS group. Team spirit, determination and a passion for adventure are the watchwords of their participation in the 4L Trophy. They have been preparing seriously for several months and are ready to face the challenges that lie ahead.
